Luminate is now rated on Clutch!

In early 2019, I  launched Luminate Communications. At that time, I brought with me a handful of clients from my freelancing days and visions of building a company that offered niche copywriting, strategy, content marketing, and other digital and print collateral services to non-profits and small businesses. I dreamed of providing an agency solution for the marketing and communications needs of smaller organizations that wanted outsourced support over hiring additional in-house staff. We would not only bring the big machine marketing mentality of large organizations to smaller ones, we would augment their communications efforts so that they could raise more money or record higher sales.

First and foremost, I was not offering a virtual writing factory where the final copy submitted reflected a you-get-what-you-pay-for attitude. I was bringing together dedicated, talented, local freelance writers under the umbrella of Luminate Communications. And I tied it together with high-level strategy services that guide our clients towards understanding their audience, their content’s purpose and goals, and even their overarching communications plan or tactics. 

Today, we have four dedicated writers on our roster and an executive assistant who makes sure to keep us all in line, all the time! While each of my writers have specific areas of expertise, they are all top of their field, and they all provide the high-quality content our clients expect of us, all the time.

The copy we write tells stories with impact, connects audience to mission and compels action.

And that’s why, as we roll into our fourth year of business, I’m thrilled to formally announce our newest service as well as the very best way to decide whether you want to work with us. 

First, the service. Last year, we began partnering with an outstanding graphic designer to offer full-service production solutions for our clients’ print collateral needs. We can now manage print projects from conception, to writing, to production and design, to give our clients the turnkey solution that requires little effort on their part. In 2021, we produced over half a dozen key print collateral pieces (such as non-profit annual reports and holiday appeal campaign letters) for our clients. We can’t wait to produce even more this year!

Secondly, we have listed our services on the B2B ratings and review platform, Clutch. This online platform evaluates technology service and solution companies based on the quality of work, thought leadership, and client reviews.

Why Clutch?

The reviews are the part we’re most excited about — while we can say our work speaks for itself, why should you take our word for it? Now you can take our client’s objective feedback for it. 

Each review consists of a series of case study-style questions that our clients have to answer. These questions explain the project, the process, their experience with us, and their satisfaction with the final product — all in their own words. Based on the data gathered through multiple reviews, Clutch then formulates a fair rating of all the firms listed on its site. 

Basically, what Clutch does is create an online database of the best companies in their industry. And we want to play amongst the best.
